Description

DoubleTree by the Galleria is looking for people that are passionate about giving great customer service. If you have an outgoing personality, enjoy engaging with people and have previous restaurant serving experience, submit your resume to apply!

Abilities:

-At least one (1) year of restaurant serving experience required

-Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written

-Current TABC and Food Handlers certification

-Ability to stand on feet for at least 8 hours

-Able to carry at least 15-20 pounds

Job Description:

-Greet, welcome and seat guests, take food and beverage orders and serve in a friendly and hospitable manner.

-Replenish beverages, quality check food, and serve guests in a prompt, friendly manner.

-Take room service orders and deliver to go order to guest rooms in a friendly and hospitable manner.

-Maintain cleanliness of restaurant area and perform required opening and closing side work duties.

-Engage with guests and resolve concerns and complaints regarding food and beverage/dining experience.

-Set up and breakdown breakfast buffet and coffee station.

-Maintain cleanliness of buffet and restaurant area, and buss tables to support servers.

-Request food from kitchen and quality check before replenishing buffet.
