Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Data Analyst plays a key role in leveraging data to drive operational efficiency, optimize inventory, and enhance supply chain performance. This role involves extracting, analyzing, and visualizing complex datasets using SQL, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and other analytics technologies to support decision-making and process improvements. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to gather business requirements, design data solutions, and develop reports and dashboards using the provided technology stack. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven insights lead to meaningful business outcomes
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Automate recurring data processes and reporting using SQL and BI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Streamline workflows by reducing manual effort and optimizing data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights into inventory, logistics, operations, and overall supply chain performance.
- Analyze and interpret large supply chain datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions using SQL, Excel, and BI tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance to support reliable decision-making.
- Continuously enhance data analysis and reporting by incorporating stakeholder feedback, refining analytical methodologies, and implementing best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and the overall impact on supply chain decision-making.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis, or business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy)
- Hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE ERP) for supply chain reporting and data extraction. (Preferred)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, or Power BI. Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics and forecasting is preferred.
- Data Analysis & Business Impact: Proven ability to work with large datasets, extract actionable insights, and leverage analytics to drive business improvements and strategic decision-making.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Deep understanding of supply chain operations, including planning, logistics, and inventory management, with the ability to apply analytics for process optimization.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Communication Skill: Effective communication skills to gather requirements and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Influence & Change Management: Ability to work across all levels of the organization, build trust and credibility quickly, and influence leaders to drive change and adopt data-driven decision-making.

- Salary Base Range of $68,166.30-$103,925.93*
