THE JOB: We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Coordinator to join our Banquets team at ARIA. This full-time role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment, handling detailed banquet event orders (BEOs) and ensuring meticulous execution of banquet operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background with knowledge of food and banquet operations, and an eagerness to learn and manage CAD-related tasks to comply with fire safety regulations. THE STARTING RATE:$22.25
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Manage and update BEOs with precision, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected. Create and manage buffet signage from BEOs, requiring a good understanding of various food items and dietary requirements. Coordinate with kitchen staff to verify and update ingredients and menu items as needed. Liaise with the Fire Marshall through CAD software to ensure room layouts meet fire code and safety standards. Undertake administrative tasks efficiently, with a strong emphasis on detail and accuracy in document management. Engage with and learn from various technological and operational systems including Excel, Word, Coupa, Outlook, and Oracle.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be at least 21 years of age or older. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. 1 year of prior relevant experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role. 6 months of prior experience working in food and beverage operations. Ability to read, understand, and make edits to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Computer experience using programs like Excel, Word, Coupa, and Oracle.
