Overview

As a Building Management System (BMS) Application Specialist, you will be a key member in the virtualization and maintenance of enterprise BMS application systems.

Essential Responsibilities and Activities Include but are Not Limited to:

  • * Configure primary and secondary virtual servers.
  • * Work with local service providers to migrate BMS controllers from local administration to the enterprise virtual environment.
  • * Configure network and user access.
  • * Configure and test alert distribution.
  • * Commission the virtualized system and perform turnover to the operations team.
  • * Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
  • * Troubleshoot system alerts and initiate service tickets.
  • * Develop playbooks to document daily functions and troubleshooting process.

Preferred Experience:

  • * Experience programming and managing a BMS system is not required but is a major plus.
  • * System experience operating any of the following BMS applications is a plus:
  • o Tridium Niagara
  • o Siemens Desigo CC
  • o Schneider EcoStruxture
  • o Alterton Compass
  • o Sauter Vision Center
  • * BMS application management experience with of the follow technologies is a plus:
  • o Lighting Controls
  • o Leakage Detection
  • o Temperature Sensor
  • o Compressed Air Pumps
  • o Energy Power Meter
  • o Indoor/ Outdoor Air Quality
  • o Battery System Monitor
  • o Building Shades
  • o Solar Power Monitoring
  • o SCADA
  • o HVAC

Communication Skills:

  • * Strong oral, technical writing, and presentation skills
  • * Ability to build productive relationships with team members, clients and other network/system stakeholders.
  • Behavioral Skills:
  • * Must be able to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures and a demanding environment.
  • * Must be a resourceful self-starter, flexible, proactive, solution-oriented and customer-oriented.
  • Work Schedule:
  • * Required time in the office 3 days/week. Other days can be remote.
  • * On-site requirements are subject to change and could increase at any time.
  • Position / Candidate Requirements
  • * High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience
  • * Or Associates with 8+ years of experience
  • * Or Bachelors with 5+ Years of experience
