We are searching for a talented Team Assistant

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Visiting Nurse Association - Fairhaven, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Clinical Managers or designee and in support of customer service goals, provide administrative and clerical support to assigned teams in areas related to referrals, patient and staff scheduling, authorization and billing, clinical data entry and reporting, answering call center calls, etc.



Qualifications

  • Associates degree in medical office administration or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years previous medical office experience required.
  • Requires proficient computer skills, including experience with various software (MS Office Suite and Outlook) and database programs.
  • Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills with all stakeholders of the organization, including peers, patients and physician practices.
  • Medical terminology and experience working with electronic medical record system strongly preferred.
  • Substantial typing and data entry experience required.
  • Home Health related experience preferred.
  • Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a busy, home health rehab department
  • Computer skills required and scheduling experience preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
