Configuration Manager - CONTINGENT - 25-006 - San Diego, California

AUSGAR Technologies has a NEW CONTINGENT opportunity for a Configuration Manager to join our team of smart and innovative technical team members working in the Point Loma area of San Diego, California.

Develop the basis for support for a new system. Perform Configuration Management (CM) duties and apply CM processes for document control of technical requirements, statements of work (SOW), and associated Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system specifications. Control and manage technical data from different sources and organize program documentation.

Job Duties:

  • Develop, identify, prioritize and oversee development of configurations for program systems.
  • Develop router/switch configurations.
  • Assist in the development of testing strategies, test cases/plans/reports.
  • Support and participate in the execution of software regression test.
  • Evaluate emerging system and network technologies
Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferred, plus five plus years of related experience.
  • Defense Acquisition University Logistics Level III or equivalent certification
  • Experience in the Configuration Management (CM) field and demonstrate the ability to apply CM processes for document control of technical requirements, statements of work (SOW) and associated Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system specifications.
  • Experience in supporting Department of the Navy, Air Force or Army projects to include performing CM work.
  • Experience in tracking and analyzing various vendor production status reports and conducting investigations to understand and document status for configuration state.
  • Experience in the preparation and maintenance of HW and SW programs using CMPRO.
  • Experience in evaluating Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) impacts in CM documentation and engineering change proposals.
  • Demonstrated capability in defining, documenting and instantiating the CM process for programs and projects, including recommending and implementing military standards and CM best practices.
  • Experience interfacing directly with government customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing and demanding environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong writing skills

Approximate travel: 10%

Salary Range: $80K-110K

An essential qualification for this position is having a Secret security clearance issued by the Federal Government, which may require successful completion of a background check.

AUSGAR's salary range is dependent upon a variety of factors, which include experience, skills, education, certifications and geographical location. Our salary range includes a base salary and excellent benefits package as part of our total compensation.
