Job Title: Psychiatrist Location: Grafton, OH 44044 Shift: Full-Time, 40 hours per week Duration: At least 6 months (potential for permanent hire) Note: Healthcare-professional level CPR certification. Ohio License. Drug Enforcement Administration certification. Job Description: Collaborate with intra and interdepartmental staff to provide treatment for behavioral health patients, adhering to nationally recognized treatment standards. Document patient interactions using an electronic health record system. Conduct patient exams, and write evaluations and reports. Order and interpret diagnostic testing. Manage patient medication and treatment plans. Make referrals for specialized care or treatment when necessary. Perform duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and relevant American Correctional Association standards. Participate in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews. Engage in collaborative agreements, as needed. Required Education: Licensure: Must hold a valid Ohio Medical License. Education: Doctoral degree (MD or DO). Experience: Board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist. Certifications: Healthcare-professional level CPR certification, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification, and Ohio Medical License. Additional Documents: US Passport or Naturalization card (if born outside the US), Copy of Board Certification, ODRC packet.
