THE JOB:

As a Lead Barista at Starbucks, you will be responsible for overseeing the barista team, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area, and ensuring smooth service. With your warm smile and attentive service, you'll set the stage for a memorable guest experience. By understanding each customer's unique needs, you'll create WOW moments that leave a lasting impression long after their visit.

STARTING RATE:$20.7781 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead, coach, and train barista team members to ensure smooth daily operations and promote staff development.

• Take, place, and serve food and drink orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely service to guests.

• Unload warehouse deliveries, stock storage areas, and ensure supplies and machines are replenished as needed, maintaining organization.

• Establish daily par levels for inventory, manage stock, and complete daily order sheets to ensure adequate supply levels.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience.

• 6+ months previous experience as a barista, Starbucks experience preferred

• Barista and training certifications

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Strong leadership skills, capable of training and guiding a team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
