General Job Description: The Learning Data Analyst will serve as a resource to the Director of Training and ACCO employees, with a primary focus on owning data analytics within the LMS and other training systems. This individual will be responsible for creating and analyzing reports, identifying trends, recommending actions, and developing dashboards to provide stakeholders with clear insights. They will also lead stakeholder communications related to training data and analytics. In addition to analytics, this role will dedicate approximately 40% of its time to LMS operations, including handling service requests, managing tickets, performing routine maintenance, compiling quarterly reports, and supporting a revenue-generating internal client. The Learning Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, optimizing reporting frameworks, and enhancing the organization's ability to make informed, data-driven decisions within Learning & Development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end learning analytics and reporting process, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Smartsheet, PowerPoint, and other tools to visualize training data effectively.
- Analyze trends in learning engagement, course completions, and training effectiveness to provide actionable insights.
- Create and deliver quarterly and annual learning reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training data with business objectives and performance metrics.
- Establish and implement standardized reporting frameworks and best practices for data visualization and analytics.
- Support the development of data-driven training strategies by providing insights from LMS and other training systems.
- Manage LMS operations, including processing service requests, handling tickets, performing routine system maintenance, and troubleshooting user issues.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and maintain data integrity within the LMS.
- Work closely with a revenue-generating internal client to support their training data needs and reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in training analytics and system administration.
- Act as a backup to the LMS Administrator for core system tasks and support as needed.
Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Learning & Development, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in LMS administration, learning analytics, or data reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization, reporting, and trend analysis.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools is a plus.
- Ability to create and implement data standards, reporting frameworks, and best practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and their reporting capabilities.
- Experience working with internal clients, particularly in revenue-generating environments, is preferred.
- Experience processing LMS service requests, managing user accounts, and troubleshooting routine system issues.
- Ability to perform basic LMS maintenance tasks such as course uploads, system updates, and permissions management.
- Understanding of LMS reporting tools and basic configuration to support learning analytics and data extraction.
- Experience with Saba or Cornerstone SBX is a plus.

Travel: Up to 10% of the time to and from the primary office to regional and branch offices. Competitive Wages:
$68,640 to $88,750 Annual Salary.
