Gymnastics Camp Staff - Marblehead YMCA

The Marblehead YMCA is hiring camp counselors for our Summer Gymnastics Program in our Gymnastics Center. In this role, you'll teach campers basic gymnastics skills while creating a safe, engaging, and fun summer experience.

As part of the Y camp staff, you'll help campers stay active, learn new skills, and make the most of their summer! Each day, you'll assist with supervision, lead games and activities, and guide campers. Whether you have experience coaching, assisting in an instructional setting, or personal experience in gymnastics, dance, or cheer, your enthusiasm for the sport will help inspire young athletes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Previous experience in gymnastics, cheerleading, or dance is preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Camp operates Monday-Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM, with varying shift schedules.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Must be able to see and hear in case of an emergency.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment or assist children up to 55 lbs.
• Must be able to navigate uneven surfaces on the gym floor.
