Reliant Medical Group in Worcester has an opening for a per diem Mammography Technologist. This position offers great compensation and flexible hours within a positive, close-knit, team-oriented environment. Weekday and weekend hours are available at our Worcester, Southborough, and Leominster locations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

This role incorporates all the technical skills associated with mammography, including related clerical and service duties.

Performs digital screening and diagnostic testing, including 3D tomographic studies as assigned. Performs routine quality control/quality assurance tasks and maintains exam suites in good and appropriate order. Obtains and reviews patient clinical history and related reports/documentation. Obtains pertinent medical history, instructs patient regarding exam procedures and preparation. Performs related clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current Massachusetts State (DPH) Radiologic Technologist/Mammography license
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Must maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment
• Must be BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and maintain this certification during employment
• Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements, and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance
