Job Description:

We are looking for a NOC Technician to join our intelligence program supporting a key government customer in McLean, Virginia. In this role, you will support the 24x7 Network Operations Center in providing network monitoring and service.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), customer networks, Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• Perform routine network startup/shutdown procedures and maintain control records

Required Qualifications:

• Ten (10) years of relevant experience, which can be a combination of degree and work history:
  • High School diploma plus 10 years of work history
  • Associate's degree plus 8 years of work history
  • Bachelors' degree plus 6 years of work history
  • Masters plus 4 years of work history
• Hands on troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT systems
• Able and willing to work a shift schedule that includes weekend and holiday work.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with OpenText's Network Node Manager/NOM.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITOM
• Network certifications Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIE, ITIL Foundations, and/or CISSP.

Work Hours/Schedule:

• Dayshift
  • Sunday/Wednesday: 6am - 2pm
  • Monday/Tuesday: 6am - 6pm

Position requires active security clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Pay Range: Competitive
