The Opportunity

The Americas is the largest region within Adobe, and you will join at an opportune time to design, develop and help deliver our future by partnering with our senior sales leaders in the region for the betterment of our business. As the leader of Sales Operations in the Americas, your role is essentially the Chief Operations Officer; driving growth initiatives and managing change across the business, including Enterprise Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services and Partners.

We're looking for someone with a customer experience mentality who is highly effective and efficient, with the ability to think strategically but also keen to get their hands dirty and "get it done".

We'll need you to develop and drive Go-To-Market strategy, a regular cadence of business reviews, and manage day-to-day operations within the Americas, partnering with a global cross functional team for support.

What you'll do

  • Partner closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, Enterprise, and other Americas and Global Executives, to drive and influence change and growth in the Americas region
  • Lead strategic and operational GTM planning, and drive excellence in execution
  • Drive the operating and reporting plan (annual, quarterly, monthly etc)
  • Lead a regional team of Sales Operations Professionals
  • Drive executive level business presentations (i.e. Business Reviews)
  • Drive cross-regional alignment with Regions, Sales, Partners, BU & Marketing
  • Interpret and assess current business practices and provide innovative approaches for improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead key sales productivity initiatives in region; focused on customer success, bookings growth, pipeline development and ecosystem alignment
  • Organize and drive standardized opportunity management, account planning practices, and champion Value Selling and other global initiatives
  • Maintain strong relationships with worldwide peers and collaborators to evaluate effectiveness of programs and impact of operational strategies, programs and improvements
  • Drive and/or lead key infrastructure initiatives in region; supporting a centralized Business Change Management function
  • Question the status quo, and strive for operational excellence
  • Recommend and drive improved processes and procedures for the management and administration of sales systems and procedures
  • Drive quota setting, coverage and participation in the compensation process
  • Drive Adobe's sales plans & deployment models, strategies, territory plans, account management procedures, sales systems to ensure reporting is accurate and relevant
  • Be a focal point for the group you are representing. Serve as the initial "go to" person for regional constituent questions or issues for the respective organization

What you'll need to succeed

  • Americas wide experience as a Senior Sales Operations leader
  • A high-performance people leader, experience leading and developing a hard-working regional team with a track record of engaging and growing diverse talent to greater success
  • An exceptional understanding of sales processes, systems, and procedures
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Extensive operations experience in large software organizations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including passion for building and operationalizing management tools
  • Leading communication skills, both interpersonal and written, especially in presenting at senior levels within the organization
  • Financial / Analytical / Operational background Process expertise; proven leadership and experience working across functional groups ensuring alignment of process driving the defined business strategy.
  • Flexible and resilience under pressure

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $172,000 -- $389,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
