What You Will Do:

As a Civil Engineer, you'll be at the heart of creating and shaping projects for a variety of clients in the Energy, Industrial, and Government sectors. Imagine working on everything from natural gas pipelines and electrical grids to renewable energy installations, landfills, mining operations, earthen dams, water resource management, and even the infrastructure supporting nuclear facilities.



  • Project Collaboration: Team up with senior engineers and project managers to plan, organize, and bring projects to life.
  • Time and Budget Mastery: Contribute to crafting project schedules and timelines and keeping a close eye on budget tracking.
  • Innovative Design and Modeling: Utilize cutting-edge software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Revit to create detailed design drawings and models.
  • Field Exploration and Data Gathering: Embark on site visits and environmental surveys to collect crucial data for design and construction.
  • Regulatory Navigation: Ensure that all designs and plans comply with local, state, and federal regulations, keeping projects on the right track.



Who You Are:



  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering design projects
  • You have an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or able to obtain within six months
  • You have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have previous exposure to AutoCAD, Civil3D, stormwater, and utility modeling programs is a plus



Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

You are willing and able to perform the physical demands of this position with the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment such as:



  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs, (field/laboratory samples and equipment)
  • Traveling out-of-town and possibly overnight for assignments as necessary
  • Working outside of normal business hours when necessary
