Job Overview
A network cable technician / installer installs, maintains, and troubleshoots communication networks for homes, offices, and businesses. They work with low-voltage lines for data, video, and voice transmission.
- Install, terminate, and repair copper and fiberoptic cables
- Install data and voice cables
- Install cabled devices
- Perform cable testing and verification
Skills and qualifications
- Expertise in installing network cables
- Knowledge of equipment, tools, and materials
- Ability to work in small spaces and at varying heights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a team or independently
- Willingness to work overtime and travel
Estimated Pay Range: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $30.00/Hr. - USD $35.00/Hr. and is a Non-Exempt role.
Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
