St. Jude Children's Research Hospital/Children's GMP, is seeking a Scientist Quality Control to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficacy of biological products. This position requires an individual who can operate autonomously while collaborating closely with the Quality Control Manager and Director to design and implement biological and analytical methods for in-process, release, and stability testing of biological products developed and produced at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital/Children's GMP, LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assay development and assay qualification as per Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and International Conference of Harmonization (ICH) guidelines for biopharmaceutical products. The position requires the technology transfer of assays from the laboratories of internal principal investigators and outside entities, as well as the development of an experimental plan to further develop the method so that it can be used for either release or characterization of the products manufactured by Children's GMP, LLC. The candidate will generate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), Assay Development Reports, Assay Qualification Protocols. As the subject matter expert on a developed method, the QC Scientist will be expected to tech transfers these methods to train the QC staff on the procedure. Job Responsibilities:

This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
