Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer - Aviation Analytics & Diagnostics to work the design, development, and deployment of advanced aviation diagnostic and prognostic systems. This role will drive innovation in aviation analytics, leveraging full-stack development expertise to create scalable, high-performance solutions for aircraft health monitoring, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Architect, develop, and optimize full-stack solutions for aviation analytics and diagnostic platforms.
  • Design and implement cloud-native, scalable, and secure applications for aircraft health monitoring.
  • Develop front-end and back-end components, integrating real-time data processing and visualization tools.
  • Collaborate with aviation engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML teams to enhance predictive maintenance capabilities.
  • Ensure high-performance computing and efficient data pipelines for aircraft diagnostics.
  • Lead system integration with avionics, IoT sensors, and flight data recorders.
  • Drive best practices in software development, including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and microservices architecture.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding architectural decisions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.12+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, with a focus on analytics-driven applications. OR,


Master'sDegree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.10+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, with a focus on analytics-driven applications.



  • Expertise in modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and distributed systems.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, time-series) and data pipeline architectures.
  • Familiarity with aviation data standards (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, HUMS, or ADS-B).
  • Understanding of predictive analytics, AI/ML, or data visualization in aviation applications.
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • A current DoD Secret security clearance is required.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in aviation diagnostics, prognostics, or health monitoring systems (PHM/HUMS).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks for aviation software solutions.
  • Prior work with DoD, FAA, or commercial aerospace regulatory compliance.
  • Experience integrating with avionics, embedded systems, or real-time data processing.
