Your Role:
The Maintenance Mechanic will perform plant maintenance to include including scheduling and coordination of the
preventive/corrective maintenance of production and plant equipment
- Perform equipment preventive maintenance
- Carryout weekly work schedules for technicians.
- Follow PM Pro Log program, which includes maintenance and PMs
- Give daily support to production problems and assures functional support of SIM meetings as required.
- Perform repairs and modifications to the production and plant equipment when necessary.
- Maintain the Maintenance Database and assures Equipment spare part stocking levels are sufficient
- Ensure the safety and health of employees when carrying out the work of contaminated pumps.
- Support goals in cost reduction of operation.
- Assist with finding failure causes analysis and implement corrective actions for unplanned maintenance activities
- Assists the engineers with the modification to the design and maintenance,
- Anticipates problems based on the use of equipment and preventive maintenance.
- Manage PM Pro Log program, which includes the allocation of PMs for maintenance personnel, PMs,
- Give daily support to production problems and assures functional support of SIM meetings as required.
- Perform repairs and modifications to the production and plant equipment when necessary.
- Document manufacturing problems and daily maintenance and repair of the equipment.
- Maintain the Maintenance Database and assures Equipment spare part stocking levels are sufficient
- Ensure the safety and health of employees when carrying out the work of contaminated pumps.
- Achieve goals in cost reduction of operation.
- Schedule and monitor work performed by outside contractors.
- Maintain critical spares list.
To succeed you will need:
* Knowledge of Edwards manufacturing operations, processes, uses and customer requirements.
* Extensive knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques and their implementation in production cells.
* Good understanding of safety and hygiene practices and procedures.
* Extensive knowledge of customer and company quality expectations.
* knowledge and experience in maintenance building contractors management
* knowledge and experience in maintenance database management
* Practical knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
* Able to make calculations and create/fill check list and reports
* Must be proactive, detail-oriented, self-motivated and demonstrate leadership abilities
* Some analytical work, using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
* Ability for interpersonal and administrative communication
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Technical ability for solution of failures
