Job Description:

Join our team at Baptist Health LaGrange as a Full Time Ultrasound Technologist Team Leader! You'll lead the ultrasound department in delivering accurate diagnostic testing, ensuring quality results that exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities include verifying patient information, monitoring safety during exams, assisting the radiologist, and overseeing daily operations of the specialty area. You'll ensure compliance with regulations, manage equipment (including PACS), maintain a professional work environment, and handle on-call duties. Focus on quality assurance, minimizing repeats, and accurate documentation in the EMR. You'll also provide leadership and feedback to your team. Strong leadership, ultrasound proficiency, and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience in a clinical ultrasound setting required.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program

One year of Ultrasound Tech Experience Required

Successful completion of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
National Board Examination

ARDMS Certification Required

BCLS Required within 90 days of hire
