The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 28.22 USD - 38.85 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. Summer 2025 Internship

Description of Project

  • Analyze production orders and review material moves. If opportunities exist help establish the plan to improve.

  • Help with the technical writing of new or revised procedures associated with the Materials team.

  • Work with team to understand losses associated with material delivery, create process flow charts, understand bottles necks and provide ideas for improvement.

  • Work with shipping team to understand why inconsistent Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) are being sent. Understand root cause and help put plans in place to improve.

  • Review different options that are available for Dock appointments. Provide pros and cons to each process and provide a recommendation.

  • Help develop a process to consolidate trailers to make best use of the trailer yards located at the site.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

  • Major in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain or Logistics.

  • Have completed at least three or more years of education from an accredited university or college.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.

  • Strong analytical skills, skilled in Excel spreadsheets and knowledge of presentation and word processing software.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Good critical thinking skills.

  • Detail-oriented.

Job Requirements

  • Available between May 19, 2025 - August 08, 2025 (dates flexible).

  • Local to the Chicagoland or Northwest Indiana region for summer 2025.

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.

  • Previous internship or work experience is preferred but not required.
