The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 28.22 USD - 38.85 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. Summer 2025 Internship

Project Description

  • Monitor OEE and line performance and utilize critical thinking to drive problem solving.
  • Utilize data analysis to proactively identify issues and generate solutions: RedZone, Tableau, PowerBI.
  • Ownership of lean tools and processes with continued sustainability in mind: CILs, Centerlines, 5S, Continuous Improvement.
  • Drive standardization across the plant and site.
  • Lead problem solving.
  • Build site knowledge by continuously engaging operations team members to fix problems.
  • Provide them opportunity to learn by doing. Teach vs Fixing.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance, and L&D to identify training and capability gaps and support creation and delivery of training to close the gaps.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

  • Major in Data Analytics, Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited university or college (all levels welcomed).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • Strong analytical skills, skilled in Excel spreadsheets and knowledge of presentation and word processing software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good critical thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented.

Job Requirements

  • Available between May 19, 2025 - August 08, 2025 (dates flexible).
  • Local to the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana region for summer 2025.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Previous internship or work experience is preferred but not required.
