The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a full-time faculty member to join our growing Division of Interventional Radiology. Join a dynamic team at one of the top clinical, research, and teaching institutions in the country!

Compensation and academic rank will vary based on credentials, expertise, and experience.Salary range starts at$400,000(for a faculty member in the first year out of fellowship).Our radiology department offers several on-site locations to work from, extending from northern Westchester to New York City.

The Division of Interventional Radiology offers the full scope of outpatient and inpatient practice and performs over 10,000 procedures a year. We serve a diverse array of sites including a large tertiary academic center in New York City, two community hospitals in Westchester, two robust outpatient centers in Midtown Manhattan and Tarrytown, NY, and a large tertiary care children's hospital.

The procedures performed include both arterial and venous interventions, liver and renal transplant interventions, interventional oncology including radioembolization, chemoembolization, immunoembolization, microwave ablation, cryoablation, TIPS, complex biliary interventions, IVC placements and complex removals, prostate artery embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, superficial and deep venous interventions and dialysis interventions including percutaneous fistula creations. Many of these procedures are performed at the outpatient centers.

Our division has top tier approved IR/DR Integrated and Independent residencies. Teaching responsibilities include daily clinical supervision of residents in procedures and the clinic as well as participation in education and interdisciplinary conferences. In addition, participation in clinical and/or basic science research is strongly encouraged.

The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center has more than 100 full time faculty and performs over 800,000 imaging exams each year in state-of-the-art facilities. Qualifications

Position requires M.D. or D.O. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York. Training and experience in interventional radiology required.
