Summary
Do you have a desire to positively impact your community? Do you want an inside look into how local government works? Are you looking for a paid internship that will provide real-world professional experience? During this 8 to 10-week paid internship program, students will gain meaningful work experience, obtain skills training, and attend programmed events throughout the summer focused on the value of careers in public service. Salary $9.00 - $13.50 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The purpose of this position is to provide an individual with exposure to operational, field, and administrative functions of the Parks & Recreation Department
Assist with the development of written and oral presentations. Minimum Qualifications

Physical Requirements / Work Environment The incumbent works typically in both indoor and outdoor environment and may be subjected to extremes of heat and cold, rain, humidity, noise, etc. Physical tasks include heavy lifting, bending, squatting, stooping, walking, and carrying supplies (up to 20 lbs). |
