The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Human Resource Specialist performs a variety of tasks associated with the recruitment, screening, and selection of new employees. Interviews and screens applicants for technical competence, applicable experience, background and skills. Makes employment recommendations based on information obtained from interviews, applications and resumes. Confers with hiring managers on the status of open positions and coordinates additional advertising if needed. Works closely with departments to understand requests and recommends solutions based on the department's need and work requested. The Human Resource Specialist fields all hiring-related inquiries from managers and will develop/maintain a good working relationship with managers, staff, and peers. Serves as a liaison with the Central Human Resources office on recruitment matters and assists with special projects as required. Responsibilities Talent Sourcing
