The Analyst/Sr Analyst plays a pivotal role in identifying, analyzing and driving strategic growth opportunities. The role requires a blend of expertise in analytics, business intelligence, project management, healthcare industry knowledge and communication skills in support of Team Pegasus initiatives and objectives. The Analyst/Sr. Analyst will focus on:

  • Financial Modeling and Analysis:Develop financial models, business cases, and forecasts to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring:Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities, providing analytical support for weekly, monthly, and quarterly metric reporting.
  • Growth Opportunity Evaluation:Create detailed analytical summaries to evaluate growth opportunities in new service areas.
  • Market Research and Analysis:Conduct market and provider research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape in the healthcare sector using tools like the Definitive Healthcare database, CareJourney data, and other reputable sources.
  • Provider Profiling:Develop market provider and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) risk profiles.
  • VPI Resource:Serve as a valuable resource for Palmer VPI teams and business development directors across the product portfolio, including VBE, CKCC, CIP, EKC, ACO IKC, CKD EHR
  • Presentation Preparation:Prepare presentation packets for internal and external engagements, such as pitch decks, executive leadership forums and interdepartmental communication, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Account Planning Support:Provide account planning support by leveraging Salesforce and other internal data sources.
  • Dashboard and Report Creation:Utilize Salesforce, Tableau, and other business intelligence tools to create dashboards, analytic reports, and manage the business development pipeline.
  • Deal Support:Assist with internal and external deal tasks as needed, ensuring smooth progress of business development initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and address challenges related to modeling, data validation, reporting, and analyses.
  • Team Participation and Engagement:Serve as a core team member on departmental initiatives and complete special projects related to new business development opportunities and strategic initiatives. This includes mentoring (junior staff as applicable), supporting team engagement activities around core values, and contributing to team meetings and events.
  • Compliance and Adherence:Adhere to all company guidelines, employment policies, and departmental procedures, ensuring compliance in all aspects of work.
  • Additional Responsibilities:Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including miscellaneous analyses, supporting training needs, and participating in team engagement activities.

ESSENTIAL DUITES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • VPI Growth Support for Palmers: Modeling, pitch deck creation, market profiles, ad hoc reporting, account planning, pipeline reports, and Tableau dashboards
  • Pegasus Special Ops Transaction Team Support: Analytics/Reporting (e.g. weekly pipeline), team meetings: huddles, etc.), Salesforce data cleanup/improvement, NCA partnership (review models, etc.
  • Pegasus Initiative Support: Competitive Analysis

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales analytics, financial analysis, strategy, or related role
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Proven experience in creating presentation materials
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), with familiarity in Salesforce and business intelligence tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with a healthcare provider is preferred

Salary/ Wage Range

$56,500.00-$93,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
