ChampionX is seeking a Marketing Intern for our Commercial Marketing team within our Chemical Technologies segment located in Sugar Land, Texas. This person will support the Sustainability, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Regional Marketing teams.

What You Will Do:

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):

  • Support Product Portfolio Optimization: Assist in analyzing and refining the product portfolio by evaluating product sales performance, lifecycle status, and market relevance to support strategic decision-making.
  • Enhance Product Health Scorecard Utilization: Work with the PLM team to gather and interpret data for the Product Health Scorecard, helping to track key product metrics and support optimization efforts.
  • Assist in Product attribute database: Support the PLM team to review Chemical product attribute database, identifying and closing information gaps, coordinating data inputs, and ensuring alignment with the overall product management strategy.

Sustainability

  • Finalize and prepare to roll out our sustainable product line. This may include development of the tools, collateral, and or communications package associated with the new product line
  • Expand our raw material emissions data and product carbon footprint database. Work closely with the sustainability team to utilize the newly developed tools to expand this project from pilot to an entire region
  • PROact sustainability calculators. Work with the sustainability team to build out emission calculators that can be used by the commercial team

Regional Marketing - Depending on skillset and/or degree concentration

  • Develop market intelligence and insights
  • Product portfolio pricing analysis and insights
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) analysis and insights

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an ABET accredited educational program
  • Completed 2 years of study required
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed 3 years of study desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through extracurricular involvement
  • Proficient user of MS office Suite
