Supply Chain Analyst

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for developing predictive models to forecast demand for Class II equipment, utilizing historical data such as DPAS, GCSS-MC, DLA lead times, and more. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, adjusting forecasts, and optimizing procurement strategies. The Analyst will generate detailed reports on equipment shortages, shipping efficiency, and procurement alternatives while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure timely equipment delivery. A strong understanding of key systems like DPAS, GCSS-MC, FEDLOG, WEBFLIS, and IGC is essential. Additionally, the role requires analyzing shipping trends, recommending process improvements, and ensuring compliance with government documentation standards. Experience in military logistics or inventory management is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Supply Chain Analyst: $45-70K

Pay commensurate with experience.

Supply Chain Analyst Responsibilities Include:



  • Develop predictive models using historical data (e.g., DPAS, GCSS-MC DASF, DLA lead times) to forecast demand for Class II equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasts to optimize procurement strategies.
  • Generate detailed reports on equipment shortages, shipping efficiency, and procurement alternatives.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to Supply Chain Managers, Regional Managers, Logistics Specialists, and Project Officers.
  • Become proficient in key systems (DPAS, GCSS-MC, FEDLOG, WEBFLIS, IGC) to ensure accurate and accessible inventory, order, and equipment data.
  • Track inventory, coordinate shipping schedules, and document equipment movements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
  • Analyze shipping and delivery trends to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Recommend strategies to minimize lead times and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation (e.g., 1149s, 1348s) in compliance with government standards.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready records to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize forecasts to guide sustainment purchases and plan for the disposal of excess equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for the redistribution of equipment across the Program.
  • Communicate shipping updates and truck schedules to relevant teams.
  • Respond to data requests with well-informed, data-driven insights.
  • Design custom reports to address new challenges or meet customer-specific needs.
  • Propose innovative approaches to data analysis and presentation.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned



Supply Chain Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain analysis, inventory management, or logistics roles.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and forecasting, with experience using tools such as Excel or predictive modeling software.
  • Familiarity with systems like DPAS, GCSS-MC, FEDLOG, WEBFLIS, or IGC is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to tasks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean or Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage government documentation and adhere to compliance requirements.
  • Military logistics or inventory management background is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to find innovative solutions.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
