Position Summary Process Engineer II CDI Engineering located in SW Houston Engineering Center Performs design engineering and analysis for less complex units under general supervision. With additional experience within a specialty, is expected to assist in the design of larger and more complex units. Responsibilities Analytical skills for troubleshooting designs not working as planned, asking the right questions and finding answers that work. Ingenuity for using the broad concepts of chemical engineering and applying them to address specific problems. Interpersonal skills in developing positive working relationships with other employees working with the overall project execution process. Math skills for using the principals of advanced math topics including troubleshooting their work, calculus for analysis and design. Work on items of limited complexity in a support role while minimally managed. Support Senior Process personnel with clerical data entry elements and checking as part of Process Engineering skills development. Qualifications 2-5 years related industry experience. Learn or be able to read engineering drawings. Learn or be able to use basic engineering software. Ability to communicate. Education Requirements Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred.
