14 Position Summary
The Construction Inspector will monitor, assess, evaluate, verify, discuss, decide, resolve, report and document contractor construction activities as to ensure that the CPS Energy design requirements, associated drawings and specifications, along with all Local, State and Federal regulations and industry best practices, are being met in a safely, effective and in an environmentally safe manner. Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization
Aptitude and experience in reading and interpreting construction designs.
Ability to understand safety and company policies and standards
Dedicated and flexible with work time as needed to meet the business needs of work area.
Ability to work Emergency Call Out
Knowledge of CPS Energy construction standards and safety guidelines.
Extensive experience in Overhead construction Preferred Qualifications

Work is performed outdoors with possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Physical Demands
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally with or without accommodation, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
