Custom Reporting Post Doc

Agilent Technologies seeks a talented, creative, and dedicated analytical Post-Doc to support our Mass Hunter reporting needs.

This post-doctorate opportunity requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. The selected candidates will work onsite in Wilmington, DE Center of Excellence with some opportunity for remote work. The position is initially for 1 year with the possibility of extending it to 2 years.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Assessing and documenting reporting system requirements for OpenLab and MassHunter

• Python code development for custom report generation

• Cataloging custom reporting requests

• Curating custom reports catalog

You will work with Agilent application scientists developing a thorough understanding of MassHunter's data analysis workflow coupled with necessary custom reporting enhancements. Under the mentorship of senior scientists, you will have the opportunity to learn a broad range of Mass Spec applications and workflows. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment willing to teach early career scientists GC/MS applications and sales.

• Candidate eligible for this role should have graduated within the last 2 years or currently are part of a college or university postdoc program and have not worked in industry after having graduated with a master's or PhD., in chemistry, biochemistry, or related discipline with Python programing experience.

• Must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

• Experience developing Python code for data analysis and reporting.

• Takes the initiative to move a project forward and seek help when needed.

The US pay rate for this position is $40.77 - $43.32 per hour, plus eligibility for paid holidays and medical benefits. Our pay rates are determined by role, level, and location.
