Senior Major Account Manager Req# 1012823

Juniper is seeking dynamic sales professionals for the role of Senior Major Account Manager, responsible for driving business growth through strategic account development and acquisition. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding Juniper's market presence within existing accounts while forging new relationships. This position thrives in a collaborative, matrixed environment, where building a cohesive "virtual" team is key to achieving territory success.

Can live in either the Seattle, WA or Portland, OR area

Primary Responsibilities:




  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand within top accounts, engaging both direct and partner channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing, SEs, and channel managers to create a unified approach to account development.
  • Utilize executive selling skills to connect with CxOs, IT Management, and other key Decision-Makers.
  • Demonstrate strong relationship management skills to identify decision-makers and influencers.
  • Build and manage a 24-month pipeline, overseeing short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunities.
  • Engage internal resources, including product line business units, to drive sales success.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to management.
  • Coordinate and lead virtual account teams, including SEs, Managers, Inside Sales, Channel, and Product Line Management.



Candidate Required Background:



  • Minimum 6 years of experience in networking and/or security sales, complemented by a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of successful sales within the region, with quantifiable achievements.
  • Expertise in driving large and complex projects in collaboration with channel partners.
  • Proficient in developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, and delivering compelling presentations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and effective relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Minimum Salary: $236,544.00

Maximum Salary:$340,032.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $236,544.00 and $340,032.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
