Sr. Java Full Stack Developer - 63250501

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 11 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jenkins Kafka Springboot Microservices Java Webservices Java REST Web API Java Fullstack Java Design Patterns Java 8 Java 11 and Advanced Java. Experience in Cards & Payments or Asset & Wealth Management domains is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Fullstack technologies.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins.
• Design and develop microservices architecture using Springboot.
• Integrate and manage data streams using Kafka.
• Create and maintain RESTful web services and APIs.
• Utilize Java Design Patterns to ensure robust and scalable code.
• Work with Java 8 and Java 11 to develop and enhance applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and automated testing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Contribute to the overall success of the project by delivering high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience with Jenkins Kafka Springboot Microservices Java Webservices Java REST Web API Java Fullstack Java Design Patterns Java 8 Java 11 and Advanced Java.
• Experience in Cards & Payments or Asset & Wealth Management domains is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work model with day shifts.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

Certifications Required

Certified Java Developer Spring Professional Certification Apache Kafka Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 25, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
