HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Growth & Business Development Advisor. Reporting to the Vice President of Care System Growth & Partnerships, the Advisor is responsible for anticipating, identifying, planning, organizing, and directing strategic growth goals and activities at multiple levels, as assigned, within the overall care group organization. Growth opportunities can involve geographic expansion, service scope expansion, resource acquisition, capacity increase, market entry, joint ventures, new patient or service access channels, or any other strategic growth-related endeavors. Scope of work may include efforts enterprise-wide, as well as those focused on individual or combinations of service lines, departments, sites, markets, regions, and initiatives. The Advisor helps align individual strategic efforts with the overall enterprise goals and ensures the integrated strategy is communicated throughout the organization. The position may also include project management oversight for key strategic initiatives, and the development of strategic business plans to support major resource acquisition or capital initiatives. Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business, health care or related field
- Five (5) years' professional experience in health care or health care consulting.
- Experience leading and advancing complex projects.
- Experience in identifying, manipulating, and translating diverse data from multiple sources into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Demonstrated quantitative analysis skills. Proficient with spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Proven ability to lead a group toward consensus and drive collaborative decision-making.
- Energy and passion about serving external and internal customers, continual learning, professionalism, and personal resilience.
- Keen problem-solving ability
- Demonstrated verbal and written people skills.

Hours/Location:
- M-F; Days
- This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site.
- The position involves weekly visits to various sites within the HealthPartners care group, with minimal travel outside the region.
Position Responsibilities: Independently and/or as part of the Care System Growth team as assigned, and in collaboration with clinical and system leadership an Advisor will:
- Initiate and support opportunities relating to the external and internal growth efforts of the care system, and of the multiple operating entities within the care group.
- Develop and manage market analyses, including demand forecasts, market share analysis and projections, competitive threat assessments, and other research and analyses as needed to deliver recommendations and guidance for data-driven, actionable strategic direction.
- Routinely monitor, analyze, and summarize site, service, and market information relative to competitive positioning, strategy, and growth.
- Assist clinical and system leaders in the preservation, development, growth, and sales of current/new service lines and market based strategies.
- Provide oversight and organization of key project management opportunities, as needed. This may include hands-on implementation planning assistance for any major initiative (openings, service or scope expansion, acquisitions, joint ventures, etc.).
- Develop methods to track and report results of growth initiatives and use evaluation to recommend any programmatic changes moving forward.
- Ensures alignment and integration of clinical and corporate resources around developed strategic business plans, including participation and input into the projection of capital, operating, marketing, information technology, human resources, and other needs.
- Work with and provide input into the strategic planning process cycle, ensuring process focus on key strategic business drivers. As applicable, influence or challenge existing processes and methodologies, ensuring accurately targeted actions to achieve desired results around each of the key business drivers.
- Assist in liaison role with non-owned system affiliates and actively work to help strengthen relationships.
- Keep current on issues, practices and latest trends related to healthcare delivery, especially as related to the advancement of the goals of the Triple Aim: maintain an awareness of innovations in the healthcare industry and assess and introduce potentially beneficial concepts to clinic and system leadership.
- Demonstrate success working within a matrixed, multi-goal organizational structure, and in facilitating successful planning among physicians, other clinicians, and non-clinical staff.
