Job Description

The Sales, Strategy and Operations Intern will assist with various tasks and projects to support the Sponsor Bank segment. This role involves working with different teams to help improve the sponsorship ecosystem, enhance risk management, and support operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Help with creating frameworks and processes to improve 'specialized sales' for Sponsorship in collaboration with Super Regional, Regional, and Community FI Sales teams.
  • Support the alignment and implementation of strategies and operating models for the Sponsor Bank segment.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to refine existing strategies to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to identify client pain points and assist in launching new products/services.
  • Support the process of tracking and measuring sales objectives to improve collaboration, pipeline management, goal setting, and recognition.
  • Contribute to creating a supportive environment for the sales team.
  • Help monitor market trends, activities, and competitor actions to support the development of strategies and plans for clients.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date in December 2025 or later; less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

  • Proactive and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Process-oriented with the ability to document processes and achieve goals across multiple tasks.

Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $23.00 - $26.00 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

This is a hybrid position. Expectations of days in the office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
