Overview

Job Purpose

ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, is looking for an Associate Business Analyst to join the ICE Global Network (IGN) Product Enablement team based in the US. The ICE Global Network offers unique content, delivery, and execution services through an ultra-secure, highly resilient network. The IGN team is responsible for the overall business including Colocation, Connectivity, Hosting, Content access and Wireless. This role is an opportunity for you to be at the center of the growing IGN business.

The Associate Business Analyst works on commercial opportunities and business reporting for the ICE Global Network (IGN). This position helps to drive revenue growth for IGN by working with the Sales and Product teams to properly vet proposed solutions and approve all commercial aspects of an opportunity. Additionally, the Associate Business Analyst works with the Customer Engineering team to ensure signed orders are implemented expeditiously and provides general business support in business policy and process development, as well as certain trend reporting. This position also works with the development team to ensure the customer ordering process is as automated and streamlined as possible. The ideal candidate is someone who looks at projects and problems with an eye towards solutions and efficiency within business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews/Approves commercial contracts, submitted by Sales, by verifying standard pricing, approving non-standard pricing and checking for accuracy.
  • Prepares and maintains commercial collateral relied upon by Sales, Account Management and Product.
  • Develops a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Acts as subject matter expert for Colocation Services, SEC Filings, Order to Bill Process, etc.
  • Reviews Sales client proposals commercially to approve discounted pricing while maintaining standard margins.
  • Manages weekly forecast call and reporting for current month. Processes the forecast report weekly and distributes it to Senior Management.
  • Monthly business reporting and general reports as requested.
  • Helps define and review SEC filings for the IGN business with relevant legal teams.
  • Helps drive new internal process initiatives including the online purchase order.

Knowledge and Experience

  • BA/BS Degree required
  • 2+ years' experience in a Business Analyst or Account Management role.
  • Knowledge of finance industry, market data and content delivery.
  • Experience in an analytical/problem solving role.
  • Project Management experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with Data Center environments, management policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office package
  • Comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between 63,900 - 84,500 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
