Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States. This position is for Automation & Production Engineer with innovative attitude to work in the Production Engineering department in Wilton Factory. Candidate will work with cross-sectors employees to optimize existing manufacturing processes, enhance production efficiency and develop advanced automation solutions. Role and responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and implement solutions. - Provide training and support to ensure the successful implementation of new or updated processes. - Support the design reviews and drive continuous improvement - Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure smooth transitions for new products and processes. - Plan, execute, and monitor multiple automation projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. - Supports engineering and operations in the design, installation, troubleshooting and service of various new tests and equipment. - Troubleshoot and resolve sensor issues, ensuring reliability and performance. - Develop production sequence and routings. - Develop technical work instructions. - Support in-production issues escalated by FLS with concise troubleshooting and action plans. - Own SPC development and implementation - Other duties as assigned. Education and experienceBachelors Degree in Physics, optics, or Mathematics and 2 years of relevant work experience in a production environment Masters Degree in Physics, Optics, or Mathematics and internship experience in a production environment Experience in troubleshooting software issues Skills- Strong verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in analytical and problem solving techniques - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment -Able to work independently as well as with a team to complete projects. Multi-disciplined engineering experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, computer, etc. - Strong computer & Coding skills * Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability. * Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements.
