This position requires to be working in office, 3 days per week from our Bala Cynwyd, PA office. Position Summary:
The Finance Operations analyst is an integral member of the Treasury Department that supports many areas of our business, including Operations, Customer Service, Accounting and Information Technology. The role includes leadership of the Consumer Credit and Sales Audit Department offshore teams. Our team always looks to improve and enhance current processes to reduce expenses and increase efficiency. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise, Coach, and develop Offshore team members to ensure they are accurately performing all Sales Audit and Consumer Credit functions.
- Review daily credit card schedules and work with the offshore team for research and resolution of discrepancies
- Analyze Credit Card Chargebacks and deliver reporting to Operations and Loss Prevention teams to reduce fraud and improve store compliance
- Identify chargebacks caused by system issues or billing errors and work with internal teams to rectify the issues and resolve disputes.
- Review Daily cash over/short team adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and investigate suspicious activity related to gift card transactions, identifying potential fraudulent patterns, and taking necessary actions to prevent unauthorized use of gift cards
- Assist stores with troubleshooting, researching, and resolving problems related to payment transactions.
- Produce month end adjustments for Sales Audit accounting close process.
- Timely preparation of journal entries for Consumer Credit and Sales Audit functions in accordance with accounting deadlines
- Prepare monthly credit card and gift card account reconciliations. Research discrepant balances and provide resolution.
- Resolve Accounts Receivables issues for Fleet and service work order billing discrepancies

Experience and Credentials
- Our ideal candidate brings experience in retail or other customer-centric industries
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or the experience equivalent required
- Previous experience with Consumer credit and Sales Audit is welcome.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office - Proficient in Excel
- Experience with SAP is a plus
