Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team for an ongoing project in support of a large-scale digital transformation project. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge to integrate, develop, and maintain analytic models, visualizations, and tools. Your primary focus will be on creating transformative processes, analyzing as-is data models, and identifying/developing efficiencies using data.

Responsibilities



  • Perform data preprocessing, cleansing, and validation for structured and unstructured data to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Utilize technical knowledge of Generative AI, LLM and solution architectures and best practices to inform product development decisions.
  • Proposed forward thinking, innovative ideas to support data driven product development and solutions.
  • Analyze large-scale datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that drive decision making.
  • Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve real world business problems.
  • Automate workflows, build CI/CD pipelines and optimize Docker based deployments for scalable ML solutions.
  • Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure for model training, deployment and data processing.
  • Work collaboratively with an engineering team and cross-functional team to design, build and optimize software and system solutions for the project.
  • Maintain documentation of data science methodologies, models, and workflows using Jira/Confluence.


Required Skills and Experience



  • 4+ years of professional hands-on experience in a Data Scientist role, working with machine learning, AI and data processing.
  • Proficiency in Python and related libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, and OpenCV.
  • Experience with NLP (Natural Languages processing) and extracting insights from text and image data.
  • Hands-on experience working with Docker and CI/CD automation tools for ML models deployment.
  • Strong background in data processing, including working with ETL pipelines, data lakes, and batch/stream processing frameworks.
  • Experience working with relation and non-relation databases such as MYSQL, MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into data science solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact effectively in a remote cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Bachelor's Degree

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location: United States - Remote

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
