Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to serve as a liaison between manufacturing and engineering teams. This role will be onsite at a production facility, focusing on managing manufacturing operations, driving producibility initiatives, and coordinating engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, project management, and process optimization, with an emphasis on improving production efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee and coordinate manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with production goals and efficiency improvements.
*Manage producibility initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, tooling strategies, and cost-saving measures.
*Lead engineering activity coordination, working cross-functionally with production teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve manufacturing challenges.
*Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and the production facility, ensuring clear communication, issue resolution, and on-time project execution.
*Track, analyze, and report project progress, leveraging data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor"s Degree in Engineering
*10 or more years of experience in project management within a manufacturing and aerospace environment.
*Hands-on experience in production operations, with a focus on process improvement, efficiency optimization, and producibility initiatives.
*Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
*Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
*Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Machining background or experience working with precision manufacturing operations.
*Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Project Management (PMP).
