At SelectTech we specialize in delivering innovative solutions, supporting projects that have real-world impact. We're looking for a highly skilled Controller to lead our financial operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic growth in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

As SelectTech's Controller, you will support the company's financial and contracting activities as well as, its relationship with DoD customers, lending institutions, and shareholders by performing duties personally or through subordinate managers. What You'll Do:

Ongoing Company Financial Duties:

  • Generate timely consolidated financial statements and reports for review by the board of directors.
  • Provide narrative financial summaries to the VP of Finance and Contracts for review.
  • Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable/receivable, invoicing/billing, collections, payroll, fixed asset records, and general accounting.
  • Responsible for cash management, cash forecasting, and bank reconciliations.
  • Coordinate monthly close to support timely and accurate reporting and billing to the USG customer.
  • Oversee the company's fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, insurance activities, and auditing.
  • Ensure general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting and budgetary controls are audited and maintained.
  • Interface with outside audit firms, banks, lessors, and insurance companies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and government regulations to include the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements.
  • Work with Operations to develop annual line-item pro-forma overhead budgets and support monthly monitoring of budgets
  • Interface with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and DCAA for financial system reviews and audits.
  • Develop/monitor provisional overhead rates for billing and bidding USG prime contracts and subcontracts
  • Prepare annual incurred cost submissions.


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus, but not required.
  • Certified Public Accounting Certificate is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of Federal Government contracting experience.
  • Successful track record of financial management at the manager/supervisor level.
  • Experience working with Deltek CostPoint.
  • Familiarity with DCMA and DCAA audit requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
