Overview

This position plays a vital role in our proficiency testing (PT) program operations and customer support arenas. This role also works cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer service, quality and product manufacturing teams to ensure regulatory compliance and on-time delivery of PT reports.



Responsibilities

    Reviewing and managing incoming customer data relating to laboratory proficiency testing programs.
  • Securing and maintaining records and files of all proficiency testing studies.
  • Data entry and review.
  • Responding to customer calls and inquiries related to proficiency testing data and reports.
  • Managing supplemental PT studies (Quik Response) and custom reporting programs.
  • Maintenance and control of customer data for closed and open studies, ensuring data integrity, impartiality and customer confidentiality.
  • Generating revised and/or corrected reports.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adherence to ISO 17043 and NELAC protocols.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in scientific field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years environmental laboratory related work experience, analytical testing, or similar experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer support skills required.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.) required; Experience with SAP and/or MS Great Plains preferred but not required.
  • Contribute towards driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and implement corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with ISO 17043, TNI standards and Environmental testing methods is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical data interpretation preferred.

The general base pay for this position ranges from $44,000/year to $58,500/year. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
