IT Auditor 1

The Department of the Auditor General is looking for a motivated self-starting individual like you to join our team of IT Auditors to work in data analytics and information security auditing. The DAG is looking to fill one(1) Information Technology Auditor 1 position within the Bureau of Information Technology Audits. The IT Auditor 1 position involves auditing IT systems in government agencies and programs, as well as organizations, businesses and other entities that receive state funds. The auditor determines that compliance with Commonwealth security standards, applicable law, regulations, guidelines, rules and auditing standards are being met. The auditor also performs data analysis using a variety of automated tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Audit Command Language (ACL).

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
• This is a remote position which includes limited traveling to Harrisburg, PA for audit site visits and in-person training.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer since, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math or a closely related field.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credit.

Additional Requirements:

• This position requires a valid Pennsylvania Drivers' License.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
• CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
• CGAP (Certified Government Auditing Professional)
• CGFM (Certified Government Financial Manager)
• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
