We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused applications engineer to provide expert-level support for our Process Analytical measurement parameters. This role is critical in ensuring customer success by addressing key technical inquiries, troubleshooting issues, providing application-specific solutions, and delivering engaging trainings and product demonstrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. This position bridges the gap between customers, product management teams, and technical experts, while also playing a key role in showcasing product capabilities through hands-on demos and customer training sessions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing a deep understanding of product features, functions, and applications in real-world scenarios.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, recommending best practices and usage tips.
- Assisting customers with integrating our solutions into their workflows or systems.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries via email, phone, and online support systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving application-specific technical issues related to process analytical measurements.
- Providing step-by-step guidance for system configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Designing and delivering engaging product training sessions for customers, both onsite and remotely.
- Conducting live demonstrations of product features and applications tailored to customer needs.
- Creating training materials, including videos, presentations, and user guides.
- Creating and updating technical support materials, including FAQs, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Providing insights on common issues or product enhancement opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
- Providing onsite support as needed for complex troubleshooting, system setup, or demonstrations.
- Supporting remote system installations, upgrade, and software configuration.
- Creating collateral such as white papers, case studies, presentations, and product brochures.
- Attend and act as booth lead in industry trade shows, ensuring highest ROI with lead engagement strategies and product positioning and messaging.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Degree in engineering, biological sciences, chemistry or related technical field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a bioprocessing environment, technical support, application support, or related field.
- Experience conducting technical product trainings or demos is highly preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including both overnight and local travel.
