What would you do as a Safety Specialist As a Safety Specialist at Journey Group, you will oversee the daily project safety operations, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory and construction safety guidelines. Your role will involve spearheading safety initiatives and risk control programs, fostering a safety culture based on relationships. To excel as a Safety Specialist at Journey Group, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in health and safety, construction management, or a relevant field, accompanied by at least 3 years of advancing safety experience. Preferred applicants will have a background in the construction industry and hold a valid driver's license along with proof of insurance, maintaining a safe driving record. Proficiency in various software tools and technical knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations (such as OSHA 30, DOT, EPA, GHS) are essential for success in this role. Demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding safety standards is paramount in contributing to our safety-centric work environment.
