Credence has is actively seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical support and electronics maintenance for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Integrated Ship Control Training System (ISCTS) associated with the 225 foot Seagoing Buoy Tender (WLB) and the 175 foot Coastal Buoy Tender (WLM) classroom laboratories located C5ISC Portsmouth, VA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on a variety of electronics equipment and ancillary components that make up the ISCTS (WLB-225 and WLM-175 training simulators); equipment includes but is not limited to MPCMS, DPS, Electronic Chart and Display Information System (ECDIS), and SPS-50 Radar, (Furuno commercial marine Radar).
