Job Summary

We are searching for a Full-Time, Onsite Wellness Manager I (Registered Dietitian) at a tech company in Redmond, WA. The Wellness Manager is responsible for all assigned nutrition and wellness information and activity for the account; will customize, support, coordinate, and measure nutrition and wellness initiatives and provide nutrition education, training, communication and guidance as needed; and, work collaboratively with the operations, culinary, IT and marketing to promote and support corporate nutrition goals, objectives, strategies and policies to develop and implement wellness related programs and initiatives and to ensure compliance with FDA nutrition labeling laws and client goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and implements nutrition and wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Leads in-field implementation and on-going wellness training for catering.
  • Acts as a nutrition education resource for client, customer and associate nutrition and sustainability questions and concerns.
  • Conducts site visits for purpose of ensuring integrity of applicable wellness programming, client-specific nutritional requirements, on-site nutritional support and on-site programming.
  • Understands and executes Company food philosophy, allergen management processes and wellness programs including Company wellness commitments and op-in wellness offerings.
  • Act as the lead expert on food allergen management and dietary restrictions through reviewing menu labeling, formal associate training and continuous education.
  • Ensure accuracy of all posted signage including nutrition, ingredient, enticing descriptions, and dietary labeling.
  • Support nutritional needs including special dietary needs, menu issues, nutritional analysis, client requests and referrals.
  • Provide enhanced labeling for VIP events as required by client.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (event planning, purchasing, receiving, marketing, IT, operations, vendors, sustainability, corporate teams and others) to deliver customized client solutions.
  • Support all client goals including those related to menu variety, participation, dietary restrictions, sustainability, and others.
  • Enhance customer experience by meeting with guests with dietary restrictions
  • Support catering projects including new concept and recipe creation, tours, VIP events and process improvements.
  • Train chefs on accurate standardized recipe writing. Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust methods as needed, tracking participant outcomes post-training.
  • Input recipes into menu management software and communicate accurate nutrition, ingredient, and labeling information to stakeholders.
  • Train and provide ongoing support to Webtrition users to ensure full utilization of standardized recipes, production records, and other menu management tools.
  • Participate in recipe and menu approval workflows, logging contributions and tracking progress.
  • Support culinary projects as assigned, documenting actions and outcomes for accountability.
  • Assess current and future menu offerings to meet client dietary requirements.
  • Travel up to 4 times per year, as needed.
