Responsibilities

Student Volunteer Internships provide students the opportunity to enhance classroom learning through practical career-related work experience. The primary goal of a student volunteer internship is to provide students with supervision and a chance to learn while contributing to the organization's needs. Student Volunteer Internships are unpaid.

  • Assist with data collection in accordance with established protocols to ensure efficient, consistent and appropriate treatment of study participants and data collected.

  • Work with administrative staff to inform, educate and build on-going relationships to ensure maximum support for each research project.

  • Assist with a wide variety of administrative tasks in support of the Research Department's operations as needed.

  • Develop writing and communications skills.

  • Practice skills and behaviors that support the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation standards of behavior.

  • Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests, and visitors


Qualifications

Current college student (undergraduate or graduate) or recent college graduate
