POSITION OVERVIEW: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Design, modernize and ensure appropriate implementation of processes/systems/tools and line haul network adjustments that enable business performance optimization across key operational domain Support optimization efforts as they relate to Network processes, asset planning and utilization, performance measurement, goal setting and reporting Lead and support department and cross functional/opco projects with responsibility for analysis of operational cost areas, coordination of action plans for improvement, and SME role for Network design and/or systems development and implementation Apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve linehaul network processes and performance Provide analysis and support of cross-opco and cross-department initiatives Mentor and develop critical skill sets of Network Engineering Specialists Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Perform other duties as required Disclaimer: This job description is general in nature and is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job.
