Job Skills / Requirements
The Access Control Coordinator (ACC) facilitates site, team and personnel access to the Data Center. They will also assist with problem solving access requests to ensure business functionality.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
* Support and facilitate timely approval of all access requests within the data center.
* Assist Secruity Operations Manager to conduct monthly key audit and Traka clearances.
* Provides documented updates and feedback to the SOM regarding access control improvements and/or concerns.
* Must maintain a strong understanding of access control policies/procedures, vendor onboarding processes and access management resources.
* Review badging request - Task System
* Conduct access management oversight and instruction for lobby officers.
* Host site level access management training for the site team.
* Attend applicable construction meetings to provide input on access.
* Complete/update door access control lists for new buildings if applicable.
* Coordinate with other DC ACC's to provide support/guidance if required. * Uniformed security personnel as per global standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Requirements
  • All personnel assigned to the Meta location are required to possess one or more of the following:
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Security Police, Corrections,) or any support role in a garrison or deployed area of operations
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
- Bachelor's degree in protective services, business, or related field
- A minimum of 4 or more years of active service in any military branch with an honorable, medical, or general discharge
- Associate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
- 2 years verifiable data center security/customer service experience
- 3 years verifiable private/corporate security experience
MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE USED:
Previous experience in surveillance and or CCTV preferred but not required
Ability to use cellular devise for reporting

Depending upon assignment may be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Ability to sit for long periods of time
* Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, twisting, walking, and standing for extended periods of time
* Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed
* Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 lbs
* Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
* Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/moving up to 25lbs
* May be exposed to or required to handle sensitive and confidential information
