Job Summary Join TYLin's dynamic Rail + Transit team and play a key role in shaping transformative transportation projects in San Diego! We're looking for a motivated Project Controls/Document Controls Analyst to help drive efficiency and organization on impactful infrastructure initiatives. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity, with a preference for candidates in the Pacific Time Zone-but we welcome exceptional talent from other locations. What You'll Do:

  • Log and manage project submittals, RFI's and correspondence.

  • Draft and accurately track contract change orders, material inspection, certification, and additional documentation.

  • Process, distribute, and maintain controlled documentation using owner document control systems.

  • Process documents for review, revision, and approval.

  • Monitor the distribution and reconciliation of process or reference documents.

  • Perform overall document control and flow of engineering deliverables and processes/reviews.

  • Attend project progress and document control meetings.

  • Recordand prepare draft minutes for weekly progress meetings.

  • Prepare draft meeting agendas.

  • Assign and maintain the application of metadata attributes and codes for project documents.

  • Well-developed communications skills are required to effectively engage all levels of the project team, client organization, designers, and contractors in document control related matters.

  • Proficiency with document control features of SharePoint required.

  • Supports project controls technology and project management control systems (PMCS).

  • Will assist in the implementation of appropriate (PMCS) solutions.

  • Computer proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, & Access is required.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent work experience required.

  • 2-4 years of related work experience is required, Project Controls experience preferred.

  • Requires knowledge of project controls industry standards.

  • Understanding of accountingpreferred

  • Experience with public agency document control systems strongly preferred.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of$78,000 - $138,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
